Gaming and media platform company FSport AB (the ”Company” or ”FSport”) announces that it has been granted a new licence for its proprietary gaming software, further strengthening the Company’s position in the regulated Swedish gaming market. FSport’s licence has been issued by the Swedish authority Spelinspektionen and is valid until 2028, to manufacture, provide, install and modify the gaming software used by the Company’s online games. The new permit is a so-called B2B licence, and enables distribution of FSport’s games via licensed gaming operators and other partners – thus complementing the Company’s existing B2C licence for betting.

As of 1 July 2023, a licence requirement for gambling software is introduced. This legislative change has been implemented to limit access to software for unlicensed gaming companies operating illegally in the Swedish market. FSport’s receipt of this permit represents a significant milestone in the Company’s efforts to market its gaming products and broaden the distribution of its licensed and certified gaming platform.

In addition to the licence, the Company has also recently received its annual certification and approval for its gaming software from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), an independent testing laboratory. As a leading global player in testing and certification, GLI has confirmed that FSport, together with the associated software, fulfils the strict requirements and standards of the Swedish gaming legislation and the gaming industry in general.
